edit: Bro, the ship landed RIGHT on a huge patch of the stuff on day 2! We couldn't get away! I hate this new thing!
edit 2: Dude, I just got hunted down INSIDE the ship! This thing sucks so much!
I'm sorry but terminal guy is super useful in most play, ESPECIALLY when ghost girl is active. This feels like a feature that would be really cool in concept but it's just aggravating to try to manage.
At least the ship doors can break the tether tongue
They don't appear to despawn. They keep spreading if you don't spray them down to nothing, and they also seem to spread when you're not on the planet too.
My 4 man didn't clear any of it up to Q5, and we ended up having the Fox spawn next to the ship and kill 2 of us before 8:30am on Assurance. There was just so much Shroud that I don't think all 4 of us spending the day playing gardener would have managed to get it under control. Nevermind that doing so would likely cost us Quota if either of the remaining days ended up going badly.
Still really confused why Zeeker decided this was ready for the Retail build when the whole concept needed some serious revisioning and reworking. Anyone suggesting that people need to just "get good" aren't the ones playing vanilla, or have any actual understanding of balance in a video game. Funny enough, those dunces will often check both boxes.
