kidnapper fox???

I was reading the log for the vein shroud because i thought they were evil and would come alive to attack us I read that they have a mutual relation with the kidnapper fox so now im really hoping the kidnapper fox is not real and was just referenced for world building but if not can someone tell me if kidnapper foxes even exist ingame

Okay so quick update. 1. You can pick your weapon back up if it grabs you and smack the tongue. 2. If you DO hit it, it runs off. So if you do get grabbed, the best thing that you can do seems to be back away and try and grab your weapon to hit it

i went to offence and stood next to a vain shroud bunch for 2 whole in game days, i havent seen one yet, they must be rare, or im just unlucky

The moons I've seen the Kidnapper Fox on were Offence (With a really high spawn rate?), Adamance (Pretty high too), Assurance (I *think* I might be misremembering since I played a lot of Offense) and Experimentation

Kidnaper foxs cannot kill you untill they drag you into vein shroud weeds

weed killer helps you remove vein shrouds nearest to the ship
