Lethal Company

Microphone is not working
Please help, my microphone doesn’t work in the game, in the settings it just doesn’t show that I can be heard. But in other applications, for example discord, everything is fine. I tried everything including updating audio drivers and setting the device to default, but it didn't help. I also switched devices in the game settings, but it didn't help. I used other headphones with a microphone, but the game still couldn't hear them. I checked the integrity of the game files, everything seems to be in order. I have no idea what’s wrong anymore, please help me.

...... Push to talk is a setting that makes it so a specified Key enables your mic.

If push to talk is active, your mic won't function unless you're holding down that key.

I know, I used this function in the game but my friend did not hear me even when I pressed the key, now this function is turned off

Maybe look at what device your computer considers it's default audio input.

A quick check-list to do:

* Restart the PC if possible, sometimes jank builds up and causes weird oddities.

* Make sure the appropriate drivers are updated (Be surprised how often this works)

* If you have Tower PC, are they plugged in Front or Behind? I've moved mine to the back as the front ports do not work correctly.

* Are they plugged into the right ports? If so, are they plugged in correctly?

* Does Windows/Linux/Mac/Lethal Company recognize the headset/mic?

* Does your Voice Meter go up when speaking? (It's found in the sound settings)

* Do you have (Default) or [Specified Headset/Mic] selected? Some apps will recognize headset/mics as (Default), others will not. If you have a Virtual Cable app/Soundboard, it might be picking that up as (Default).

I might edit this for later, but that's what I've had others do when their Mic is being weird.
Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, none of this helped. But thanks for trying to help
Touching the fifth and sixth points, the game recognizes my microphone, but the green scale does not go up.

If it's a razor or something you may need to update the drivers. Long-shot but I've run out of other ideas.

I literally just solved the problem, it turned out to be much simpler: my microphone had too much gain in the settings(Realtek HD Manager) Thanks for trying to help
