If push to talk is active, your mic won't function unless you're holding down that key.
* Restart the PC if possible, sometimes jank builds up and causes weird oddities.
* Make sure the appropriate drivers are updated (Be surprised how often this works)
* If you have Tower PC, are they plugged in Front or Behind? I've moved mine to the back as the front ports do not work correctly.
* Are they plugged into the right ports? If so, are they plugged in correctly?
* Does Windows/Linux/Mac/Lethal Company recognize the headset/mic?
* Does your Voice Meter go up when speaking? (It's found in the sound settings)
* Do you have (Default) or [Specified Headset/Mic] selected? Some apps will recognize headset/mics as (Default), others will not. If you have a Virtual Cable app/Soundboard, it might be picking that up as (Default).
I might edit this for later, but that's what I've had others do when their Mic is being weird.
Hope this helps!
Touching the fifth and sixth points, the game recognizes my microphone, but the green scale does not go up.
