Questions about the quota

Just tried playing for the first time tonight, got to the third quota (around 350) and started googling some things because I had a growing suspicion the quota would always increase and never cap out or alternate between some range, and I think that's the case.

1) Am I correct that the quota ALWAYS increases, which means that no matter what, eventually, you will not be able to meet it even if you were to get every single piece of loot every day on the most profitable planet?
2) Is there a mod that changes the behavior of the quota growth to cap it out at a range where it's possible to actually complete always? Because I don't see the purpose in playing the game if it's just flat out impossible to actually win and you're forced to lose without carrying over anything.

I'm fine with difficulty. I'm not fine with there being no way to win/survive even if you played absolutely perfectly.

Yes. It always rises whenever the quota is meet, making it harder to meet the next one. Not sure if end-game quotas that go higher than 8k+ are supposed to be meet (considering that Artifice can give up to 2400 worth in items).

There are various mods in the Thunderstore that alter the functionality of the quota. Some can decrease it or simply set a record

If that's not the case then you can always use one to increase (or remove) the days needed to meet the quota.

For now this game is unbeatable and you are supposed to lose eventually. It's about how high you can make it, otherwise you could go on infinitely. This will probably change in the future and an ending will be available, the game is still in early access for a reason.

My mod, ChocoQuota has options for this. You can set the quota to stop increasing after a certain point or to stop exponentially growing after a certain number of days and level out. (It has tons of other config options relating to the quota)

I created it because I wanted a fix for that exact same problem.
