No not actually lol (thankfully) Actual reason is that they use it to brainwash people in war because hearing a baby cry is very disturbing and activates instincts in humans or something like that

It's an, albeit, very disturbing manipulation tactic. Hearing the cry of a baby activates our brain to high alert mode and induces anxiety, even if we know it isn't an actual baby. It is a manipulation tactic from the robots to disorient their enemy.
