I was in an office with a plant and a desk lamp.
I don't know how...
Maybe it happens randomly or we need to do something when loading screen flashes/flickers ?
I try to trigger it again..
Edit :
Okay, i watched on youtube, it seems that cutscene is triggered when we start game for the first time in beta.
If the cutscene is not triggered, this could be due to a bug or the scene has already been played.
A friend told me that someone on reddit had replayed it, switching back to version 49 then to 50.
It didn't work for me.
Did it work for you ?
Uninstall V50,
Reinstall V49.
Run V49 once until you reach main menu, close.
Reinstall V50.
Enjoy Cutscene.
I think we'll have to wait a patch or an official release of version 50.
tl;dr: You have to switch to an older version, open the game and get at least as far as the main menu (not the online/LAN screen, but the actual main menu).
Then you can switch back to v50 and launch the game.
For clarity the way the code works for the cold open cutscene is it checks two things:
- Is the last version number you played lower than 50 (your last played version is saved while loading the main menu)
- Is this exactly the 7th time you have loaded into the main menu
If either of these flags is true, the cutscene plays. It will also automatically set your "amount of times loaded to main menu" value to 8 to avoid the cutscene ever playing twice.
This also means for players who start on v50 and have never played an older version, they'll get the cutscene on their 7th time launching the game.
Edit: There may actually be a bug in the code here. It seems that if your last played version is v50, then every time you enter the main menu your "TimesLoadedGame" value is set to 8. Meaning players who have not played an older version will never see the cutscene.
EDIT: i managed to do this by doing a fresh install of v56 (clean AppData\Roaming folder), making a save, and THEN launching v61
viiuan thank you for the tip on the roaming file. i saw they changed the v50 cutscene when i launched v64 and i couldnt find anything about the secret text without getting the newest cutscene. now i can see what that text said
