I've had 3 out of 5 random matches be full of racists. Not even right at the moment, we'd be playing normally but midway into the game we'd get a Bracken then out of nowhere they'd compare it to African Americans using the most vile slurs I've ever heard. It completely ruined any joy for me and is giving me extreme anxiety to hop on random lobbies again out of fear of another George Floyd joke.

Its just best to avoid, ignore, mute those type of people and the game is best played with friends that you know, there are some pretty good servers here and there but other than that, its the internet, you'll meet all kinds of people, the good, the bad and the deranged.

The problem with your argument is that you imply making offensive jokes means the people in question don't know any others jokes or ways to be funny. They may or may not, but them doing something you don't like only means that they can and did it.

The term "poor taste" is a social construct that's used as an excuse to promote censoreship for the mentally fragile, as well as political agendas and other things. In humor anything is fair game and I consider people brainwashed and uneducated on what humor is if they believe in poor taste. Remember peeps, political correctness is fascism pretending to be manners.

I wholeheartedly believe that as a general rule, no one should take offense to what's said in humor.

That said, some humor is polite to avoid. (e.g. if you know someone is self-conscious about their weight, you're a jerk for joking about it)

I'm very durable and can take things like that and find them funny. My sense of humor is much like yours.

My advice for the OP (if this ISN'T bait) is to find people who share your views and play with them. You do not have thick enough skin for public lobbies.
