Advanced Company Mod
Anyone else having issues with an error saying "advanced company mod not installed" even with the mod installed and enabled? My friend is trying to join our game and has the exact same mod list we have (we shared the profile code) and it is still telling him that the mod is not installed. None of the rest of us are having this issues

by not playing the game modded.
Just open it through steam(?)

Advanced Company is being discontinued by its creator because he's apparently a baby about stuff I don't care to look into. It'd be best to remove it from your modpack.

Actually it's worse than you know.

The mod creator went malicious because someone removed his watermark on the logo. so his mod now checks if his watermark has been tampered with... and executes malicious code which makes AC or the game non-functional. no idea what else his malicious code does...

Anyway mod creator also removed his mod from Thunderstore before they caught wind of this. Its for the best for this mod creator to be shunned.

A mod author did this in minecraft decade ago because they didn't like being in a modpack, mojang updated their TOS to forbid such malicious behaviour.

There are still tons of advanced company reposts out there. You`ll find them if you look hard enough.
