Dine has the advantage of a lower spawn chance for the more troublesome entities like Brackens, Coil-heads, the Ghost Girl, Forest Keepers, and Jesters. Dine also can't spawn Masked, which can be very dangerous.
Coilheads also have a high chance of spawning on Rend ( although I suppose the fact that Nutcrackers' spawn chance is also very high kinda balances this out, considering how valuable shotguns can be ).
The fact that the outdoor map is quite big offers better chances for enemies to wander away from main paths, too, which can be extremely beneficial, and something that's much harder to occur on Titan, for instance.
All in all, I'd stick with Rend being the best paid map ( at least taking into account that it usually feels unlikely for a team to bring back over 1000 value in scrap even on Rend, thus making the total item value on both Rend and Titan more equal, at the end of the day ).
I would not be surprised if, eventually, either Rend would be made a tad more difficult, or Dine/Titan a bit more rewarding.
The fact that turrets aren't present and landmines are few and far between is another huge reason why Rend is so easy.
Dine won't spawn masked?
Last week I lost my entire squad inside the mansion and, while trying to reach the ship (~7pm) I saw a giant nearby. Heavy and without any source of light other than Dine's lamps, I only survived because there was this abandoned house nearby. I took shelter there, but eventually someone (something) entered the house and closed the door. I freaked out and rushed outside, but the giant instantly killed me.
Who could have closed that door?
Masked also don't tend to close doors behind them.
Rend....................
Which also should not spawn masked, right?
Anyway, wtf closed that door? My friends got killed by nutcrackers/bracken, so none of them were actually transformed into masked.
Nah rend 100% has mimics
