They complain about Zeekers being a furry yet look at their weeb catgirl profile pic holy ♥♥♥♥♥.
You took the bait
A. Because they say it in the most hateful way instead of just genuinely asking they're harassing the developer to do it.
B. because not everyone wants to hire people. It isn't just give someone money and do stuff. You have to take applications, find who you want to hire, then begin paying them weekly. A lot of which can be very expensive, and sometimes they don't really deliver.
AND SOMETIMES... Having multiple developers STILL Goes slow. This isn't minecraft, league of legends or Fortnite. Even games like phasmophobia that have several developers take MONTHS to release a big update, and occasionally slip in events and bugfixes.
this is a SINGLE developer. Of course it takes time. And making money from a game doesn't mean you want to spend 90% of your resources maintaining it. It was fun, Zeekers let modders have fun adding to the game too. Zeekers has other things to do to, and doesn't have infinite time and money to spend on hiring people. Especially since not everyone will understand YOUR PERSONAL game code.
Modders are editing what already exists in the game. That's why modders in any game work faster. Because developers have to build from scratch code.
If you want to see more activity from zeekers it is understandable. But for the time being enjoy the mods, and be patient. You do NOT deserve updates if you harrass the developer! so shut up, play it if you want, or abandon it if you don't. The developer released this without knowing it would get so big. Even if it was never updated again, it is a great and fun game. Not every game needs weekly updates. If you want more and there isn't and mods don't satisfy you then just go play something else.
Gamers are such entitled brats nowadays.
player count increased by 110k at the end of last year. in the past 3 months 88k players have left lethal company. last peak within 24 hours of this post are 26k players, and dropping.
zeekerss probably leaning back with his new fursuit, laughing because he could care less about the game at this point. he has already made a fat profit, and has no more need for the game. any more updates will just bring back players and not push sales.
100%! To add, everyone compared it to Valheim and said it was nowhere near that bad and not going to have the same fate.... Valheim has more players at the moment hahaha! The copium is real but the games a goner.
