camera is not turning

I was able to play this game normally until at some point when I got on and now I suddenly cannot turn my camera in any direction. I can't use my mouse or even try to use a controller so I don't known what's going on.

Were you already in a game? I had this happen when a Masked grabbed me and started the animation to possess, but a teammate finished it with a shovel before the possession trigger. I got stuck at the angle the Masked had caught me at and couldn't turn - it then desynched me. Restarting the game fixed it, though.

If it persists across restarts, try playing with any controllers unplugged. Just use keyboard and mouse, and make sure the controllers are physically disconnected from the device you're playing on. It used to be more common, but sometimes games can still get confused by too many input devices being plugged in.

same thing is happening to me on the beta branch. even reinstalling the game hasn't fixed it.
