What is this new patch? The ability to use mods however you want is absurd. Literally watching people walk around god-mode. Super fun. What's the point?

This new patch has nothing to do with it. It's to do with the "unofficial" (not Steam workshop) support for mods so there are mods some people download to screw around or grief others in games.

Wasn't sure, haven't played in a couple of weeks, and suddenly every room is 16-32 people and half of them are cheating in one way or another. Completely ruins the game.

That's fair. It happens to even vanilla lobbies as well so no one is safe from it, it's why a lot of people have moved to private lobbies with friends.

I agree, most of the sessions Ive been seeing are modded now

Modded's kinda what keeps the game interesting tbh, not enough updates to keep playing for long, but an entire flood of mods to try out and mess with.

I don't necessarily mind most of them, but it seems like you can't play a game without someone cheating to win, which pretty much ruins the whole vibe of the game.
