My mic makes robotic noises

when i first got the game i was getting expelled from server for no reason,well there was a reason, i did a server whit my friend and he was asking me if i was using some voice modifire, when i asked why he said "bro mute yourself you talk like a robot what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong whit your mic", after that he explained to me all of this on discord.
to this day i still don't know how to solve this pls help

Trash mic probably. Or something to do with your Windows settings. But if it's making robot noises it's most likely a faulty mic.

I have the same problem. I checked the microphone in different programs - the sound is excellent. I checked even in the steam itself, in the sound settings - everything is fine too. But the game talks about a robotic voice.

I managed to find a solution. First, I'll say briefly: you need to lower the sampling rate of the microphone. I managed to fix the problem by setting the sampling to 48 kHz or 96 kHz.
Now I will describe the way to change the sampling rate in Windows 10:
1 - left-click on the sound icon on the right side of the panel near the time.
2 - Open the volume mixer.
3 - left-click on the system sounds icon to open the sound properties.
4 - go to the "sounds" tab, select your microphone and open the properties.
5 - go to the "advanced" tab and open a drop-down menu with a selection of microphone sampling rates.
I'm not sure if the names of the tabs will be the same, since I use a translator.
Please let me know if this advice solves your problem - I'll write it in my own language, in case anyone else has problems.
