No progression/rewarding gameplay
HEY DEVS THIS POST IS FOR YOU:
This game is a lot of fun and it reminds me of retro PC games. Unfortunately Death in
game results in you failing the mission, with little chance for redemption, which is fine, but you can play for hours and get so far, yet when its all wiped out start from the very basics.
this is Frustrating and makes the game tedious and each play through becomes more of a chore.

The GAME OVER = Start over model is very true to oldschool gaming, however, this is a Modern Game, as a modern game there should be progression:

- Make Rank up permanent (Give increase in starting Credits Based on number of Players/rank)
- Make Ship upgrades more expensive/Permanently unlocked
- introduce cosmetic avatar items that are purchased by the individual (again make them expensive but permanent)
- make Walkie talkies not take up an item slot and just be included as a part of the suit.
- give attribute points at rank up ( so you can specialize your character ): further scanning(distance from 50m to XXm); more attack power; more stamina; more health; eventually a 5th item slot
* attribute points should be VERY incremental so that way you don't have OP characters, and make a level cap on each one to establish balance inline with what the gameplay should be.


this complaint is a common one i hear when people talk about the game (And even here in the forums) and the solution is to not tone down the difficulty, but give players a way to keep some form of progress from playing the game more and more.

Wow I never knew.

The game is a rouge lite. There for follows the standard rules set in place by rogue lites. Make progress through the game and each run creates more of a risk of failure. Die and start over.

You also said "Devs". There is one singular Dev. Tons of people keep suggesting changes to the game or ideas that they want implemented. One Dev cannot just magically take the suggestions from thousands of players and implement them. We have mods for this, and the majority of suggestions are already mods.

Your suggestions that are already mods:

highly disagree. just because this is a "Modern" game doesnt mean it has to do what all "Modern" games do. Let games do their own thing.

arent players SUPPOST to be fairly weak and unable to do much about the monsters aside from run? i feel like attribute points would kind of take away from that, AND it would just cause a meta attribute point build to appear
