It keeps saying "your files could not be loaded and may be corrupted."

Hi does anyone here know how to fix it when it says "your files could not be loaded and may be corrupted. To start the game, the files can be deleted" I have deleted the game, verified the files, checked for viruses, completely deleted every file to do with the game and I got in one time but when i reloaded after it said the same thing?

Ok so I found a fix, I installed bepinex and LC API and then bigger lobby mod then I uninstalled everything except the “lethalcompany.exe” and it worked

Maybe give that a shot?

Yeah thanks but I've tried it and it didn't work, I've tried so much and I can't find anything that works.

What about this one?

Same issue, restarted the file but I didn't need to do it manually. Type %appdata% in file browser, move up to Appdata folder and open AppData\LocalLow\ZeekerssRBLX\Lethal Company. You'll see 1-3 game savefiles and LCGeneralSaveData, which I think is the one being corrupted. Back up everything, then delete the original files. You could also try only deleting LCGeneralSaveData

try to use a program called "revo uninstaller" or "advanced uninstaller pro" to remove Lethal Company it will remove all registry files or anything related to Lethal Company then try and reinstall the game. Make sure you uninstall the program after because it has a lot of adware

Yeah it very well could be the registries. I would try that next. Whether you use a program or manually delete them in RegEdit.

This is getting really annoying, I just tried revo and it did not work, i am so annoyed because ive tried so many different things.

If you are having issues with every single method of troubleshooting, try to make a new user account on your PC, open up a command prompt as admin and type "net user test test /add" it'll create a local account on your PC, try to sign into steam on there and see if it works. If that is still causing issues you may want to look into re-installing Windows on your PC just make sure you have a backup of all your data before doing so.

I am also not sure if you tried to reinstall Steam completely as well, that may be worth doing before wiping your system and reinstalling. Make sure to move all your data to an external drive

i just deleted everything from the folder and it worked just dont do the integrity thing

possibly you might have to disable cloud files and then reinstall the game? i assume it has to do with glitched game save files that are stored in the steam cloud and after re-downloading
steam keeps downloading the broken and glitched files from the cloud and causes the game to crash
