Masked Character on The Company Planet?

Hi all, I was hoping maybe someone else could confirm if they've seen something like this. I didn't take a screenshot, but I know I saw it. It was a crew of 4 people, no mods. 2 people were on the ship, and myself and another person were by the delivery rocket. They were closer to the ship. I looked over towards the two shipping bins and saw a MASKED CHARACTER. The other person saw it too, but didn't screenshot either because we both panicked. The other people called me crazy, but I know I saw a masked on the Company Building planet. Has anyone else seen this happen? I've been trying to recreate it, getting an exact quota of 145 like I had in that public lobby. I know this really does sound like the ramblings of a crazy person, but I SWEAR I saw it, I know I did. Much appreciated.

there's not been any updates recently
masked can be created if you have a mask and hold it too long, or if the host is quietly using Beast Master (mod) and spawned them. otherwise, this is impossible.

i cant play the game on my laptop even with the game and steam intalled it just wont open

It shouldn't've been modded, but it was a public lobby so maybe I'm wrong. I just am so confused because I know what I saw, I know I saw a masked, and in the next game, a dog spawned right at the front entrance for March, killed the host, and then vanished, even though the round just started, so maybe someone was using mods

There is a chance an "imposter" crewmate wearng a mask could appear in certain maps even if there are four players in the game.

It shouldn't've been modded, but it was a public lobby so maybe I'm wrong. If it was a public game and you didn't know everyone in the lobby, the odds of these strange circumstances not being the fault of mods are effectively zero.

But nothing, NOTHING is supposed to spawn on the company planet. Its a complete safezone (aside from Jeb)

Sounds like Control Company mod, somebody is trolling you

did the same thing to some poor dude, he killed both of us and then bought stuff, I spawned in as masked and just stood there, died, then when he looked away spawned in again.

i think i might have been the one playing with you. it was a few days ago and we saw the masked i asked if it was a player because i didnt think it could happen you said it was definately a masked i looked for it after a bit and it was gone. later there was a dog immediately on march.
