Why the f**k did they remove railing strategy?

It was a mechanical technique and they are only hindering the actual good players who communicate with their teammates. If this is the route the devs are taking I am not sure I will continue to support and promote this game to my friends. It's just such a stupid design choice to remove the railing technique. Theyare just lowering the skill ceiling which is just bad for the competitive scene. Please fix ASAP.

It wasn't a "mechanical technique". It was a cheese. It ruined 2/3 of the tension from the game. if you want to deal with enemies, then just avoid them or get 3 people with shovels to beat them to a paste. And what skill ceiling is there in abusing a cheese that is completely safe and take 2 buttons to achieve?

So does getting rid of spiders, people are SO afraid of spiders, but jumping on the railing, ruins the horror experience for who? The people using it?

I don't think people understand that if you didn't have a shovel rail cheese just meant delaying the inevitable unless you knew what you were doing, not to mention it was one of the only reasons people were willing to go back into a place with thumpers if they didn't have shovels.
