Being kicked for no reason

I just joined a public lobby with a very rude and hostile stranger who insulted me in the voice chat unprompted then kicked me


Frankly this sort of player needs to be removed from the community

Host should be able to remove people for any reason they seem necessairy. Wether or not you got insulted or not, we dont know what you did either. This is a cool story moment.

Lethal Admin allows hosts to remove players and thats a good thing.

I have played 1 match so far and it went similar to the experience the discussion host's experience, joined a game, said I was new, server hosts says something like "well that's not good because this is the hardest map" the third player takes a step out side, I ask if we have flashlights, I hear some terrible sounds and hear the host say "aaand he's dead" then he raged a bit and kicked me. Not a very fun experience for my first go and have yet to play again, was honestly considering a refund because a toxic community is a quit moment for me, its why I refuse to play DbD, too many terrible people. I just hope this community is not even comparable but as of right now its not looking good.

It's more likely that he closed the server to save scum than he kicked to be honest

I played my second match last night, it was a lot more fun, talked to some fellows, heard one of them scream and die, heard something moving from the direction they died, I got spooked and ran into a hole and died, I legitimately had a good time though, the people you are matched with can make the experience worthy of uninstalling but also make it feel like a great game. I bet it would be a blast to have a group of friends to play it with.

Yeah, people are just really mean. It's always been that way, always looking for a fight where there isn't one. Like, just tell me to leave and I'll leave.

It reminds me of Left 4 Dead where people don't know how to make things into friends only despite the game giving you the option and throwing a tantrum when a non-friend joins.

All I can really say is to keep your head up, eventually the kids will be forced back into school soon.

You should try hosting. You'll understand better why people may kick others.
There have been several occasions where people have used racial slurs talking about others and themselves. I told them to not use such words because I don't care about their skin color and find such words disgusting.

One argued that, because of his skin, he could say it claiming it was "his word" and threatened me by calling me a "racist if I kicked him". I didn't give a damn about his threats and removed him, the guy that was siding him, and the next guy who was just being an idiot because of the situation.

Similarly, one fool was spamming sound binds on Eclipsed Titan and lost us all our stuff even after being kicked when he was on the stairs (We had gotten to roughly 4k quota and several of us died just from him being loud on the way to the facility).

Every game with full communication has people like that and its not what we are talking about, we are talking about how we join a game and get kicked for doing nothing wrong and or with no warning. It is only sensible to kick people who act like that.

did you ever consider playing in another server or did that thought just not cross your mind at all

ive been kicked and called slurs simply because I don't use a mic, and i simply move to the next server; Simple as that.
