Also no hate but I don't see how it's any of these three things.
I get that. But like i stated, not everyone has friends willing to play the game. 10$ isn't a lot, hell i paid 3x that for Rust in early access. And in an EA title without a previous following, no "single player" mode can be detrimental to game growth. Esp when its the way LC is. At least this isn't the finished product.
Thanks for the lack of hate. The other clowns proved exactly why I don't typically play online with other people. Randos just troll.
No Man's Sky = Poorly coded space exploration
Death Stranding = Glorified Amazon Prime Delivery(scrap)
Dark Souls = One shot/No defense mechanics/epic new player frustration
The dev can bandaid fix the remote door system until they put something better in place. Or i'll just mod the game myself once it gets out of EA. Not going through that nightmare again trying to make mods for a game that is constantly updated and breaks said mods(looking at you subnautica)
Its still fun though. Just tired of finding doors that the ship has to unlock while another player is staring at it.
As per mods, most mods I had didn't break from the change to version 45 except for the increased lobby mods & like a few small interactions being made a little funky on some mods, but all those things were fixed within a few hours or within the day. Not to mention if you liked playing with mods there is a beta option for rolling back to an older version so your broken mods still work.
I just hope the guy will eventually add steam workshop support to make the whole modding & joining process much easier on the players.
i didnt know you could roll the game version back. Hm
An adrenaline vial, or something could add to the immersion with stamina. I understand the game isn't meant to be cheesed, but some of the mechanics as is definitely need tweaking. Bandaid fix, something while they hash out the issues.
So far my favorite bug is trying to turn items in to the company and i get my face ripped off by a random shadow monster(not the one who runs away from flashlights either). I would like a "you got your ass ate by NPC" on your death screen, so i know what I died by.
The instructions on the ship tell you to avoid making noise near the counter & to not ring the bell too many times if I recall, also you can scan enemies to get entries about them giving their name & habits or potential weaknesses.
I was carrying stuff to the Bell. I hadn't even rung it yet. Then earlier this morning I spammed it until the hook took everything
