Hoarding Bug ridiculuosly OP after the update
Our entire crew of 4 just got killed by a hoarding bug. It became extremely aggressive for no reason, and chased us all around the facillity. Game broken?

Hoarding bug seems to have two triggers - Taking its loot, or remaining too close to it/bothering it for too long. How long that takes seems to vary. But they can get pissed off really quickly if you're not giving them a wide berth.

As for dealing with them, you can infinitely juke them by walking clockwise/counterclockwise and having them attempt to orbit around you when they're aggro'd. They can't turn very well, so you can literally stall them infinitely by spinning them. If you have someone who's decent at it, they can take aggro and just distract it while everybody else gets out before just walking to the exit.

Kind of impossible to avoid them when they literally walk right into you and get pissed off that way.

Another way to save yourself would be to drop a little valued object to distract the bug.

Never had a problem with 'em. Not then and not now.
Though maybe it's because I usually kill them as soon as I see them since they're like 2 hits and at relatively easy to juke and low damage.

Always invest in a shovel.

Edit: No really they do like 30 damage a hit (so 4 hits), tend to overshoot and take two hits to kill.
Massive skill issue against an enemy that is one of the least harmful ingame and easily avoidable.
