Escape Button not working since update

So i just wanted to play a bit with my friend and came out the escape button isn't working but everything else does now im unsure if some mod is messing with the game since they're not updated or if its because of the game update. some tips or solutions would be appreciated :)

My group is having this issue too. Since ESC works without the mods, we are thinking its one of our mods that effect keybindings. I'll follow up if we figure out what mod is causing it. good luck!

same here, I upgraded lehtallib but still can't use tab/esc in terminal screen

it sometimes still happens to me but not as frequent as it was before, what i found out that do not alt tab if you are loading in a lobby you're hosting or join a friend, simply press the windows button and then accept the invite. Alt tabbing out of the game made it bug out like crazy

Yeah so I just tried don't alt tab or do other thing but still can't use tab or esc... that's weird
Maybe I should check all my mods to figure out where the problem is.

Yea, i recommend checking/updating all the mods what i also did is remove every mod from the game folder and reinstall them with the mod manager from thunderstore it fixed it a little bit but its still happening i think its from the game itself some bug :/ gotta wait for fixes from the Dev i guess

I am getting the same problem with a completely unmodded game. I have re downloaded it 3 times, verified the files. Made sure it was on the proper update. Nothing has worked. i guess my only option is to join and leave a match enough times to get the sensitivity right, then the brightness, etc.

If you're having this issue, try SHIFT+TAB (Steam overlay) and then again.

this did it for me so i hope this works for others

A friend I play with has same issue, it doesnt happen for me even though we have exactly the same mods. When he presses windows key it fixes it for him.

This worked for me. I don't understand why, but it did. Such a weird fix.
