Scariest creature?

I'm asking outta curiosity, what do y'all think is the scariest monster within the game? For me it's gotta be the coilheads, it's a classic "Weeping Angel" enemy but with a really creepy & creative design. The sounds of the coils bouncing when they pop outta nowhere and what they do to your corpse when they get you. eurgh, unnerving stuff. Not to mention how stressful encountering multiple of them can be.

Ghost girl hands down, only one player experiences this nightmare. All the others all 4 players can fiddle with it.

The Bunker Spider.
Multiple Forest Giants don't make me scared. They make me annoyed.
The Thumper would be a similar annoying threat if you couldn't use the railings to escape.

Ghost girl definitely the spookiest.

You hear faint breathing, a bell chime, or laughter.

She has no counter, you either run or die. Nowhere is safe.

No one else but you will see it, everyone will think you're crazy.

No. Well yes, thats terror. Horror would be if you’ve never seen the Jester prior.

when you are on a good run, but your two friends have died. And it's only you and one other guy in a middle of a maze. Hearing the sound of Jester, trying to find the exit while the music still playing. Unable to find the exit, and the Jester music stops. That part is definitely an experience. And then after all the scary part, the fun part comes. You may run towards alleged exit, or you could hide. Either way, not enough stamina, drop all the loot, you will still be too slow. So just take your fate, and wait... We waited in this one room, without any hope left. And after bit of time, the door opened and here we go...

It doesnt make it terrifying.

All you have to have is ONE singulair person that doesnt troll or throw on the ship and there's plenty of hiding places that you can make use off.

you can't hide against the jester, it knows where you are at all times and will always be heading towards you. unless by "hiding" you mean jumping on top of something where it can't reach you, in which case it will find you anyway and trap you.

I don't think there's any scary monster for me yet but that's probably because I've indulged in horror content for many years that I find it hard to feel scared. Although I will say I think jester is the most interesting entity and the most original idea by far so he stands out to me.

Bracken. Anyone choosing otherwise hasn't thought this through. It's the only monster that actively hunts you, specifically from flanks. There is a reason most clips of this game feature this thing ghosting people from the darkness.

The Ghost Girl. I've been playing for 2 days and even though shes REALLY rare I somehow got her I had no idea what to do and I was alone because all my teammates died. I continued staring at her and luckily she disappeared and didnt attack and I then got out of there and left that scared me because THE GIGGLE it just gave me the shivers

I think the old bird is the most scariest, it wields baby cries of pain in its audio, also appearing to be made purposefully for some kind of war just makes it 10x more scarier, knowing there was some kind of nuclear war on the moons. but I have to admit, their music slaps hard.
