Scariest creature?
I'm asking outta curiosity, what do y'all think is the scariest monster within the game? For me it's gotta be the coilheads, it's a classic "Weeping Angel" enemy but with a really creepy & creative design. The sounds of the coils bouncing when they pop outta nowhere and what they do to your corpse when they get you. eurgh, unnerving stuff. Not to mention how stressful encountering multiple of them can be.

I have to agree, that the coilhead is definitely one if not the most scariest monster to run into. But if it were a final competition it be between the girl, jester and coilhead.

idk, I dont find the jester nor ghost girl scary when it comes to scare factor, coil head is the only thing that really shines.

But it all comes down to the situation. If you're deep in ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ titan with good loot and youre heavy and then you get blocked in the doorway by a jester. You are going to 100% ♥♥♥♥ yourself. Goes for the same for girl

Harmless: Hoarding Bug, Spore Lizard, Turrets and Mines, Eyeless Dog, Earth Leviathan, Hygrodere

Actually a threat: Bracken, Bunker Spider, Thumper, Jester

Obnoxious: Forest Giant

Where do you rate the coil heads and ghost girl?

Coil-heads are kind of like baboon hawks, when theyre alone they can be managed or comfortably sealed inside of a room but when theyres many of them they can be pretty hard to deal with.

Ive heard the ghost girl will just start skipping and wont stop until all players are dead. If thats the case they're kinda just a jester that trades the speed rampup for the ability to leave the building
Ghost girl tbh. She's the only one that consistently gives me chills because of how well-designed she is in terms of sound and mechanics. Coil heads/jesters get a good slot for being very in your face terror, and brax get the nice slowburn horror award.

when you are on a good run, but your two friends have died. And it's only you and one other guy in a middle of a maze. Hearing the sound of Jester, trying to find the exit while the music still playing. Unable to find the exit, and the Jester music stops. That part is definitely an experience. And then after all the scary part, the fun part comes. You may run towards alleged exit, or you could hide. Either way, not enough stamina, drop all the loot, you will still be too slow. So just take your fate, and wait... We waited in this one room, without any hope left. And after bit of time, the door opened and here we go...

I would say Jester is more intensity horror, as you need to run as fast as you can. And if you make a wrong turn, you get lost. And then the hopelessness comes when the music is over.

Forest Giants are just like big cats, best if you have a laser pointer.

Thats what terror is. Hearing the music ramp up and knowing what it is, as well as the sound of footsteps. As opposed to horror, which is a realization or creeping feeling of dread at something unseen.

For me it's gotta be the bracken, coil heads I'm ok with staring at, I don't like the little girl but she only goes at one person at a time, the bracken though, nothing it more blood curdling than turning to see a monster staring you down as it just snapped your friends neck after stalking you the entire time and dragging their body away

Ya, it's Bracken. The SCP Peanut of this game, this guy will show up and instant kill you with a stealthy approach, making you paranoid about always looking behind you.

More like Slenderman since the games parallel the Brax’ mechanics pretty closely. Also, coilheads exist.

you mean when the music plays and you feel lost in the maze, that is not horror
