Tragedy Mask

So, I was playing through the game and manged to encounter the Tragedy Mask. I wanted to get possessed by it (why not.) and I was wondering why I was not getting possessed by it. (I had it up to my face.) Is there a specific amount of time you have to hold it up to your face?

It's only a % chance. You have to keep trying it.

For the comedy mask specifically you have to hold it up and every like 5 seconds it runs a chance to turn.
For tragedy it does same but you can't put that one down, but works same otherwise.
Idk if it got changed but that's how it was in V45 and saw no patch notes about changes to masks.

Once me and another person both put on the mask while in the mansion and screwed over almost everyone (It was funny)

I think i was using the Comedy mask. I got confused between the two masks

Both work, you just can't put Tragedy down once you clicked it on your face (i.e. you're screwed and will die). It's about a 65% chance every 5 seconds to transform iirc.

If you're in orbit, the masks are safe I believe.

Yep, and you can teleport someone who wore a Tragedy mask so he drops it to the ground before landing
Bonus : to know who you're gonna teleport in orbit (the computer / screen don't show who it is) you can type `switch <player>` in the terminal, then teleport him.
