Discount?

Will we have a sale on this game some time soon? My friends and I want to play the game, but we don't want to pay full price. I'm not saying isn't fair or anything, but we are expecting any discount to get the game.

There was no discount last time, unknown whether there will be one any time soon.
That being said, the game is already very cheap, cheaper than a lot of other games even when on sale.

Just get it, if there was a sale the game is so cheap it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. I wouldn't expect any 50% discounts until at least a year after launch.

And why are you excpecting a discount on a game made by the solo dev, that is one of the best selling games on steam, that is already dirty cheap and is in early access?
I get it, many games are very overpriced, just to make you buy it on 50% sale, when it has is normal price, but this one is fine already.

Lucky you, I'm not from the USA, I'm from Europe.
My statements are still correct, the game is cheaper than a lot of other games on this platform (even when there is a sale going on), and there hasn't been a sale for this game yet, as such it is not possible to tell if a sale is going to happen, when it will happen, how big the discount will be, ect.

New games get 10-20% off at best though.

Two of the people you responded to are from Europe. Also if you're having issues with the pricing of the game in your country then ask for better regional pricing rather than a discount.

I used USA and Dollar as example because it's the base coin for everything. I'm from Brazil, the game is kinda expensive to purchase at full price, and it could go even higher if the developer decide to increase the price when release the game.

The base purchase price for BR players are around R$ 20,00, if you check my game list you'll see a lot of free-to-play games, and a lot of indie games that goes down to R$ 4,00. For a person like me who buys games at R$ 20,00 at most, a game costing R$ 32,99 is kinda expensive, even if isn't as expensive as AAA games, but yet much more expensive compared to the tons of free-to-play games there is.

Rude? This is the truth, what do you mean by rude? Euro is the most valuable coin there is, even if people uses US Dollars as base for everything, the most valuable coin is, literally, yours. For you to say something is cheap when someone less fortunate then you say it's expensive is simply calling the person poor, and I'm the rude one?

I will hide your replies moving forward. Thus far, every single one of those "Discount when?" threads has been exactly the same. No context is given about where OP lives or how it's priced there, and upon being told that the game is cheap (because it is for most of us reading the forums), they throw a tantrum and get upset.

I cannot possibly make any assumptions about where you live, I can only speak for myself. If that isn't something you can understand, there is nothing to further discuss.

Given this game is still early access and new + relevant, I would not be expecting a discount anytime soon. It didn't get a discount during festive season or for NYE either.

The only thing I asked was when we can expect a discount, nothing more. YOU are the one saying it's cheap. I didn't ask your opinion about the game being cheap or expensive. I bet my ass if you go back to all those "Discount when?" threads people didn't ask for your opinion on cheap or expensive, but you told your opinion anyways, right? And yet, you want to expose your opinion without reading criticisms about it, like the high-horse guy is immune to criticisms.

To be honest I was expecting at least -10% in Winter Sale. Maybe next Steam Sale.

i think you're focusing too much on them saying it's cheap and completely ignoring everything else they said that answers your question:

there hasn't been a sale yet, so it's impossible to say when or if there'll be one.

the game is also still new, and it takes a while for new games to get a discount. sometimes they get a small launch discount but that's about it. so either save up if you can and get it full price or just wait, make sure it's on your wishlist and you'll get notifications if it goes on sale
