Random Crashes - Black screen that lasts forever

Hello, I built a new PC a few months ago and since then, I get black screens while playing this game, and this game ONLY. ( Been on ARK Ascended, Minecraft & Icarus, this never happens )

These " crashs " MOSTLY occur whenever I start the ship to land, and very rarely randomly while playing.

So here is what happen, and why it's a big issue :

- My screens go BLACK, both of them, I can not hear any sound or do anything, their LEDs are still blue.

- BUT : The PC itself is STILL running and even if I wait a long time, nothing will change, I have to turn off the pc by flipping off the alimentation switch of my plug, where my screens and so on are all connected.

- I CAN NOT turn off the PC by holding the on/off button that is directly on the PC itself

- If I turn back on the plug alimentation switch without waiting a little ( around 60s ), my pc will turn back on by itself and the screens will STILL be black, so i must wait 60s before flipping the alimentation switch of my plug, then press the ON button of my PC.

Now imagine having fun with your friends while being the host, this happen, and everybody gets kicked then wait for you. I need a fix ASAP, I'm counting on you, big brain people.

EDIT : The screens are not going black when booting up the game, only when landing the ship / playing !

Windows 10

Playing the game with mods
1 of my screens is 1920 X 1080
1 is 2560 x 1440

Hope you can help, as I'm sure you understand I can't enjoy the game any longer

sounds like a potential rendering issue, can you try setting the game to run in windowed borderless to see if it still happens.

So I just did a ENTIRE reset of my computer, reinstalled every single thing and game, which updated DirectX.

I'll do a test tommorow and hope it'll be okay.

I've had a similar issue, but only on my laptop. The laptop will go dark like it shutdown. It will show the bios screen and boot back into WIndows with the game still running, but everyone would disconnect. Strangest thing ever. I eventually narrowed it down to my audio drivers. It would crash when I used my headset. Only after uninstalling and reinstalling my onboard audio drivers stopped the crashes. I also deleted the save folder in appdata. If I use my headset it will crash.

Thing is I haven't changed anything related to the audio, all I've changed recently is my graphic card and Cpu, it started happening right after that.

I'll try playing tonight and see if it still happen after a full pc wipe.

UPDATE : This bug is still going on !! I don't know what to do anymore ! Nothing is fixing it !

yo, try updating your graphic card/video card drivers, might be the issue
also i recomend trying ramdom ♥♥♥♥ on the game, for example yesterday i had bug that made Road To Vostok demo unplayable, the fix?, literally killing yourself (ingame), hope this helps mate
also try contacting the games support and check out info on the internet, good luck broda!

Thanks for your reply bro, I have uninstalled & reinstalled my GPU drivers just now, will do a test soon ..

Since you mentioned mods, have you tried launching the game without them? (As in, completely removed - and probably a new never-modded save - not just disabling mods on an existing save, if that's even possible). Could easily be a mod problem.

sounds like a power supply issue. check that your GPU is connected properly / with the proper cables and that you have the right wattage for it. also, try benchmarks or more intensive games to see if the same thing occurs

The thing I do not understand is I can play ARK survival ascended in EPIC settings and get no issues, same for Conan Exiles, ICARUS .. Only this game shows an issue

After 4hours of lethal company it happened twice in a row, even after reinstalling my GPU pilot..

I don't know what to do anymore.

are you overclocked? My CPU temp is spiking like hell when map is loading. We are talking about 91C, while most other game never exceed 80 (including the most recent AAA and most poorly optimised indies). Maybe your temp is closse to Tj and shuts down CPU/ GPU to prevent damage. Disable O/C if you have it on
