headset not being detected despite working fine

yeah this is kinda self-explanatory, but I can hear all my audio just fine, and for some reason my headphones won't even show up, it just says 'no device found'. I tried closing discord and some other stuff and opening and closing lc a few times and still, it won't detect my headphones even though it was working fine a minute ago. I just spent like 30 minutes struggling to fix another glitch, so if anyone has some quick tips that would be great

How is the headset connected? I've had to open device manager and remove drivers then reboot to fix audio a few times.

Bluetooth (I'm assuming that's what you meant by connected). It's not exactly a headset, it's just a pair of headphones with a built in microphone; I went and updated the drivers and stuff, but nothing seemed to change. Right before this started I turned off hands-free telephony to fix a different audio glitch I had, and it fixed it but I'm fairly certain it also caused this one :( kinda sucks since it seems like I might need to just go without being able to speak in game

I am having a very similar issue. It keeps telling me that there is no audio device found. I've made sure it's the right 'speaker' and everything. It worked a few minutes ago and now no audio is coming from Lethal Company at all. Please LMK if you found a solution!

Unfortunately I didn't *really* get it fixed, I just borrowed a mic from my sibling and everything worked fine on that mic

Okay! Turns out all I had to do was reset my pc. You’d think I would have thought of that immediately. But I was so frustrated that it totally slipped my mind. 😅 Glad that you can play LC again!

Restart it, press the restart button Yknow? It shuts down then powers up again?
