Invite friends not working

Just posting here to see if anyone knows how to fix this? I click on the invite friends button and nothing shows up.

Press tab and shift.
Click on the friends icon on the lower part of the screen if it's not up already.
Hover over the person you want to invite.
Click the little down arrow to the right of their name.
Under "Manage" you'll see the "Lethal Company" section where you can press "Invite to Game" and that's another way you can invite friends.

whenever i click it the game shows me the invite friend but i cant exit out of it why

If you are using mods go into the BepInEx.cfg, find where it says Logging.Console then set Enabled to false. It'll mean the popup which shows logs won't appear however it fixes the issue (which is that the logs window loads first so steam tries to attach the overlay to that instead of the actual game)
