Modding with Friends

I was thinking of adding some mods to spice up my games with friends, but I was wondering if I need to get my friends to install the same mods to play with me.
I feel like they would, but I feel like making sure.

Mods generally state whether it is client sided or not, so depending what mods you're downloading your friends will need to download them as well. I suggest using r2modman: https://thunderstore.io/c/lethal-company/p/ebkr/r2modman/ because it will help manage the mods you install and you can also make a profile to send to your friends so they will get the same mods.
