Someone writes on the transmitter without typing on the terminal

So I was playing on private lobby with my friend when we suddenly heard spooky laugh and then the signal transmitter started writing a message by itself. Nobody touching the terminal but transmitter message keep popping up. We ask question like "who are you" and "are you still here" by sound, and the transmitter answer "YES" and "NO". Then after a while it said "JUST PLAY".

We ignore it for a while but then the transmitter send message "GET READY" when all of us inside the facility. Suddenly random monster spawn inside the facility at once, and even in the ship when we got back. It's never happen before and we got scared.

Did anyone ever experienced this? Or does anyone know how this happens?

probably your friend trolling you, using a mod, or hack app (cheat engine + scripts, or wemod).

I can tell you there is no such feature in the base game, and the only mob that can affect the environment, just makes lights flicker

I have had the same problem while playing solo. I can back up everything you typed and playing solo with that happening scared the crap out of me. It happen when I got 101 hrs in the game and my other friend had it happen to her at 200 hrs. I haven’t solved why this happened yep but know you’re not alone. I also tried looking up mods for it and found nothing.

Oh also the messages we got where, “FIND ME”, “LETS PLAY”, “I SEE YOU”, “BOO”, “RUN” and a few other once’s.at one point it was showing messages once right after another. Super creepy. I was thinking mimic or ghost girl doing it. Has anyone else have this happen to them???

It's a mod called "ghost codes" where an entity does "ghost events" like flickering lights, shutting bunker doors, transmitting texts etc. The mod is also configurable

Also Did you have the Herobrian mod installed? Me and my friend (Mainly him) think we found it and it revolves around that mod
