How do I change my name, I dont want my steam name in game. Please change it.

There's the ChangeName mod by wallen, it's either a host only required or everyone in the server has to have it, not sure. Is "Caxton" that bad of a name to see ingame?

People can always click on your name and open your Steam profile.

Didn't Among Us have this problem? People didn't use their Steam names, so every other player was a racial slur and you couldn't report anyone for cheating because there was no way to figure out who was who...

Mine is "Player #0" NOT my steam name

Also for people with VERY LONG names it is helpful to have it short for when you are trying to "switch player" on the terminal

You can just type the first few letters of the name, you don't need to type out the full name.
