Lethal Company

Lethal Company

Game of the Year?
Haha NO. :steammocking: Are there people like me who are glad that this piece of the game didn't win the GOTY award?

I think this game lack of contents I've known everything after 2 hours. and it's boring.

More deserving than Starfield winning "Most innovative Game" award, when it is literally the least innovative and literally Skyrim in space with outdated game design from a decade ago.

Then you have Read Dead Redemption 2 winning Labor of Love when it hasnt been updated in years. How did that win over something like Deep Rock Galactic?

It's expected that it wouldn't because it's an early access game that hasn't impacted the video game scene enough to be something that would influence other creations years down the line. It is a fun lofi horror game that can be enjoyed with friends or just to indulge in the media content of though so it still deserved the 'Better With Friends' award for bringing people together.

This game is fun when you have people to play with but not even close to deserving game of the year.

Indeed. There is no goal or reward in the game that makes it interesting to play. This is just a pointless game for a couple of evenings.

Yes, this year all the winners are bad with the exception of Baldur's Gate - GOTY and maybe even Lethal Company deserved Better with friends, the name of the award describes the game perfectly.

It seems to me that people are just stupid and rely on the fact that “if a game on hype, it means the game is cool” and simply do not notice all its shortcomings (as in the case of Starfield).

Honestly.
I cant even decide if Red Dead or Starfield bothers me more, simply because Red Dead just hasnt been updated in over 3 years and Starfield was literally outdated the moment it released.

Luckily, those are only the Steam votings, they don't really matter much in the "real world". People probably voted for the games they were most familiar with.

SERIOUSLY THOUGH HOW TF DOES STARFIELD WIN MOST INNOVATIVE GAME AWARD I PLAYED THAT GAME AND IT DOES LITERALLY NOTHING NEW WHAT THE FOX

No because we all know its a popularity award and we are to mature to get a rise of such things.

Between this and Baldur's Gate 3 BG3 absolutely deserved GOTY and to imply literally anybody would think otherwise is genuinely insane.

pikmin 4 really deserved the awards.

Absolutely.
When I saw Baldurs Gate and Lethal Company on the list of finalists, I was worried that Lethal Company might win because of its hype at the end of the year. Fortunately, a really worthy game won.

I mean no offense, it's okay game, but there's infinitely better games over Lethal Company.

There's also infinitely better games than Starfield, yet here we are with it having won something.
