how to play on chromebook?

other people are able to play on chromebook but I always just get a black screen on the title. i run proton on steam play and PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% as launch options but the game still won't work. what do i do?

I thought chromebooks were just internet browsers with a touchscreen? I believe this game needs a dedicated GPU

Chromebooks use Chrome OS, that is not a PC gaming OS. On top of that Chromebooks don't have the proper components to play a vast majority of PC games. You have onboard graphics, most likely using the CPU to emulate an actual GPU. The CPU combines both functions of the GPU and a CPU and this prevents most games from working.

Get a cheap laptop with a dedicated GPU. Chromebooks are essentially glorified mobile phones.

A Chromebook usually is not even remotely close to meeting the minimum requirements. So supporting them is a rather moot point.
