Anyways, the Bunker Spider is very easy to deal with. Get a shovel, and just smack it while walking backwards. The spider is fairly slow so you can pretty much always just walk away from it, so it is very easy to keep your distance with using a shovel while still being able to hit it.
It works similarly for the Thumper too, if you keep smacking it, it'll remain slow.
oh also so what about when they spawn webs and go on the wall because u used to be able to walk past a wall spider but not a floor spider but now both modes they attack u
Then it’s just move somewhere safe to kill them like a thumper by backing up.
Also I’d have to check ingame but I’m pretty sure you can still pass them as long as you don’t touch a web or the spider.
And they mostly shouldn’t attack during setup, unless you run at them or something… not at home to test.
If you do have to kill them, avoid them enough to try to get them to a long walkway (if there's a Bracken, preferably towards a dead-end), then start smacking them while backing up.
Thankfully they're often passive in their nests. They also take up a lot of monster spawns that could've potentially be filled with something more dangerous. So if they're out of the way, be happy they exist. They usually hang around in corridors anyway which don't have jack for loot.
