If not, then there probably isn't a way unless you can directly access the game files.
This game does not have official mod support, so there is no Steam or ingame method for downloading mods.
Once you're using the steam deck like a PC, it'll take some getting used to, but you will be able to navigate to the aforementioned mod manager. Follow the instructions on the page and you should be able to install mods like anyone else.
You will just need to go back to desktop mode if you need to change configs for mods or download new ones. Cumbersome, but the mods do work.
