That being said, I really wish suit colors were just persistent. Our group uses a mod that adds a whole bunch of different colors right from the get-go and it gives you some nice instant character customization options that are pretty neat to have. You can easily tell who someone is by their suit color alone.
(Also I don't know if there will be a point where we just spend our money on cosmetics because we suck at the game and only make it to like day 6)
I hear you, but it'd mess with the masks (monster ver.) since part of the gimmick is their suit looks like yours. Confusion is the point. I also like spending money on ship items. It gives me something to work towards every run since I typically don't use equipment.
If you want to differentiate your friends, spray paint can be used at the start of the game and works on players ;P
But if we did keep stuff like suits, I'd love to see the mask's outfits grow in diversity depending on your outfit collection if this were to be the case. It'd keep the spook factor a bit since I already buy my crew suits to counter them.
