Game stuttering on good pc?

I have a consistant 144 fps cuz that's what I've locked it at. But whenever the ship lands, the game begins to stutter every 2 seconds and makes it pretty much unplayable.

I've verified game files, changed res, changed it to windowed and borderless, turned off full screen optimiziation and started as admin , idk what to do.

and by good i mean way better than what i'd need to run this game

Specs should definitely be good. My guess would be possibly be gpu driver (Either in need of update, or if the most current one is causing it maybe roll back a version) or something running in the background maybe spiking cpu usage now and then. You could monitor your resource usage during a test run on the game and see if anything is spiking during those stutters.

Sometimes I've had issues with overlays like discord, or nvidias overlay cause similar issues. Not sure if AMD has a similar thing. Clipping software has caused some stuttering sometimes too for me in other games. Programs that record your gameplay while your playing so you can just use a hotkey to get a quick clip of what happened.

I don't use any clipping software, all my overlays are off just cuz I want that extra performance, only bg program I have when playing lethal is discord.

I feel like if it was any of these, I'd be lagging in other games but I get good fps in pretty much everything else I play. 350+ in csgo, 200+ in siege, 144 consistant on fortnite, it's just lethal that's dying :/

Did anyone find a fix yet. I have the same problem and I have a 7700x and 4070 so it shouldn't be stuttering. The fps stays at a constant 165 but my movement is stuttery.

idk, the performance issues made me stop playing the game and I haven't really played it since

There is a mod for this exact issue but i dont remember the name right now...

But there are several for performance: Cull Factory, PathfindingLagFix, PerformanceEnhancer and CleanerLogs for example

PerformanceEnhancer does the exact opposite btw

The fix is setting display settings to 120 hz or lower. 240 hz will make you teleport every 2 seconds. Not sure why this happens. But I fixed it.

I used to have stutters but I fixed my problem.

If you have a nividia GPU make sure Instant replay or highlight recording is off, because it uses the HVENC video encoder which caused stuttering in my case but only in Lethal Company.

If you want to record your game play dont use ShadowPlay, use windows snipping tool or OBS but make sure you arent using the HVENC encoder use software (x264) encoder instead.
