This allows you to automatically update mods and allows you to share your modlist with friends, can export the modlist as a file and have your friends import it to auto download and update.
Other than that, would have to wait for official Steam Workshop support, as that would allow the game to do this automatically, similar to other games.
You don t have to do it manually.
This is why my response included that. You need official Steam Workshop support for the game to automatically manage mods on server join. Either that, or the developer would have to open up their own mod hosting platform, though for a solo indie dev, using the Steam Workshop solution already provided would be much easier.
There is no other way to make it work without it, not to my knowledge anyways.
Its really not hard and takes a few seconds
That still means having to random join a lobby, then see the list of mods you need, then close the game so you can download all the mods, and then hope that by the time you open the game back up, you can find that exact server again that needed that exact mod list.
Oh no, the server is already full or has started or just not there anymore and you need to join another one? Well time to repeat.
Steam Workshop, it could be so simple, and it doesn't get any simplier and faster than that.
What other game does this automaticly that is peer to peer?
Everytime you post you jsuit hijack topic about steam workshop. This topic is about friends.
Not randos, and you allready are gettin g a tag system so your problem is inheritingly solved.
Because it's accurate. If you play with friends and want to sync mods between friends, use r2modman. If you want the game to do it automatically, wait for Steam Workshop. There is a reason why I hide your responses, you only post to target certain people.
