some of my mods are just not working

me and some of my friends play modded through thunderstore, everything works fine except for audio mods (we have stuff like the yippiemod and the skinwalker mod), they work fine for my friends but for me i just dont hear the sounds at all, we have the exact same mod pack, i dont have any mods disabled, i tried reinstalling the game and all my mods but nothing did the trick, did anyone else encounter this issue?

also not sure if it matters but i started having this issue ever since v45 released
