It's unrealistic to expect big sales to happen on games that have only recently released. At best, 10% is what you'd get. Instead of 10€, it'd be 9€. Yeah it's a bit of money, but is it really that big of a deal? If you can't afford it, I feel like you have other priorities in life right now than to buy games.
Also, discounts are intended to drive sales forward for games where sales have slowed down significantly, so you offer a (usually small at first) discount to create incentive for people to buy the game right now. With how well the game has been doing though, if anything, the price should go up.
And like I said, Lethal is a new release, it's very unusual for new releases to get much of a discount at all. I'm sure it will eventually go onto sale, but you are looking at years of waiting for the games you want to get significant discounts.
EDIT: Just as an example, the newly released SteamWorld Build (Indie Game City Builder you can finish in a few hours), has a base price of 30€, currently 10% off and it brings the price down to only about 27€. New release, and for a game that is nowhere near as popular as Lethal. You'll be looking at at least a few years before you get some good discounts on a new game.
I appreciate the effort on steams side, but the discount still doesn't make it equivalent.
The currency here isn't half of a dollar, for it to be half price (or should be according to steamDB, isn't). It is a fraction of a cent. 0.001 USD to be specific.
Changing Piracy to Plunder doesnt change the fact you OPENLY said you will do it.
Edit. and to say, you never said " Many people here resort to this" you literally said. YOU are doing it. One does not equal the many.
Edit2. at this rate. it feels like you are troll baiting.
Oh? Interesting. SteamDB is really the only source I have for seeing how much things are priced around the world, but not every game gets regional prices right.
Lethal Company for example, it's actually 9.75€ in Germany, and 9.99 USD in the US. See, there is a very small difference in the number. Most games are priced the exact same number in both Germany and the US, which is inaccurate to the overall purchasing power and value of the respective currency. What ever Steam's system for regional pricing it is they have, it's inconsistent for every game out there.
Edit. Original quote was "me Pirating the game is indeed the only way it seems," but then you tried to be sneaky...

Why in gods name are you using a crappy music video to defend Stealing a paid product?
