It is pretty difficult to near impossible nowadays to make a completely new game with entirely new game ideas and everything. I'm surprised that no one has connected the dots and compared the Coilhead to a crash test dummy, especially with the head. Granted that I don't have any knowledge of any SCP lore, but for me that's practically the first thing that leaps out to me.

Could be could be, they're so close that I don't feel comfortable saying that they stole from dr who or vise versa however i can say that Zeekers stole from one of those too since this is 10+ years down the line... this was my initial argument for those of us paying attention...

Zeekers didnt 'steal' anythhing apart from a 'mechanic' used in many other games. Even real life games.

well it would be stealing if he just made a copy and past, but in my opinion the coil-head adds to the game then bloats it as zeekers took a well refined concept and put his own spin on it which in my opinion adds to the game, over something like borderlands 3 which design philosophy was, hey that thing looks cool lets cram it into the game whilly nilly and that makes our game cool.
