Progression question

Is there anything that's permanent in this game?
Like stuff to unlock that you won't lose after a full game over?

If not, since it seems there is nothing like that, was there any news of it being developed in the future?

The game is somewhat fun, especially with friends, but I see it getting boring incredibly fast, if you always lose everything in the end.
I get the gameplay loop, but if this is all it is, it can die pretty fast.
All games must have some sort of progression in the end.

Nope, if a quota ends, you'll lose everything but your 'rank' but rank only means experience in playtime.

As far as stuff being developed in the future, who knows, but you can look into mods like lethal progression and lategame upgrades.

I think you might keep any bestiary entry and Sigurd Log found, provided that it occurred in your own lobby, but that's it.

So far there's no progression aside from the Rank and I think bestiary entries (if save would have it) but can't confirm that part.

Mods will def help you but I don't know if there's any current plans for it, though I'd imagine he'd consider it.

I get that mods can help, but it kinda defeats the purpose.
I only usually use mods after I experience the game itself fully. Having to use mods to have a game at all doesn't really scream good game.

Hopefully after some wait time there will be actually a game I can play, I guess.

I mean right now its just getting to high quotas. Thats your endgame for now.
