crash on intel HD graphics

well ,it may seem a bit too conclusive, but i believe that this game doesn't work with intel display adapters, wich is a shame , i would like to play with my friends, so i'll wait for more news and updates.

it doeees work, as im lucky enough to have it and the game runs just fine! by fine i mean 20 fps and lower

Don't know if it's his case, but I get the Unity error when I try to enter/create a save. If I disable the driver, I can load the save, but the game becomes unplayable.

no, not really, everythings working fine besides the slideshow sometimes

minimum system requirements on steam are rarely accurate. Most games you can run on at least intel hd 3000

yeah... at 2 FPS..... You're increddible false. In order to run on intel gpus you need interl ARC's, and even then, dx11 or lower games wont properly run.

Did I say this game? Did I say the latest and greatest titles? I didn't think so. The point is that HD 4000* is about the limit before you get into graphics being so old that games begin to crash or don't launch at all. HD 3000 doesn't support the hardware shaders that a lot of games use nowadays just as an example. Just because the game says minimum spec is a GTX 1060 or whatever does not make that true.

i have a lot of experience running games on intel hd 3000 and 4000 and can say with confidence games that old will run. You will need to potato-fy the graphics, but it's doable. I've played Risk of Rain 2 on intel HD 4000 at 40 maybe 50 FPS. Space Beast Terror Fright is also pretty playable on HD 3000.

Risk of rain does not run on intel HD 4000. At least not above 20 fps

It doesnt even run proper on a 520....

Game opens but becomes unresponsive when trying to create or join a game, it just gets stuck on black screen

I've played games like Portal2 with good fps and quality, this game should work IMO

I keep reading about it being related to intel HD graphics but no were have I found a fix
anyone else have any ideas?

as somebody who has played hours of RoR2 on my Intel HD 4000 laptop (an HP Envy from 2013), i can 100% confirm that it does run very well. i was getting 55-60 fps, albeit at the lowest settings and at 800x600 resolution. didnt even crash for me. never underestimate the power of potato graphics.

please correct me if im wrong, but i assume youve never had to deal with trying to play games on a craptop. if i assume correctly, consider yourself lucky.

My friend has the same issue but he fixed it by installing bigger lobby mod and setting max number of players to 4.
Do note that while it fixed the crash issue, the mod has some issues when max player is set to less than 5 so now you cannot use scan, won't get performance report, and that orange progress bar when opening or closing doors will also be not visible
