cant exit the terminal

yes, why do you think im making this post? i am playing with friends and theyre experiencing the identical issue, esc and tab dont let us off of the terminal

It's not unreasonable to assume you didn't try pressing those, plenty of people ask questions like that when the answer is obvious. If you did try it and it didn't work then it's probably a bug, I haven't had it so I don't know the solution or the cause - it could be a mod if you are using any.

I'm running into the same issue and im diagnosing the problem right now

Do y'all happen to have the glowstick mod? That's what was causing it for me and once I disabled it/uninstalled it, I had no issues

The fix is in fact removing the glowstick mod

I am also having this issue and I have no idea if it's a mod causing the problem or if it's just a vanilla bug.
