What about the people that wanna play with people that are experience.
Cant they relax and have fun with likeminded people?
You arnt entitled to play with people. Host makes the rules. If host wants to play with experienced players, then he wants to do that.
Also... if I wanna play a 'relaxing' game I will play something like rimworld, a game you can pause
It's kind of cringe to have overly high expectations of teammates that you force upon them.
It's also kind of cringe when you have multiple people that spend the entire game in the ship, never going for loot, leaving early because they're too scared of dying to engage with threats in the game, etc.
We live in a funny world.
With time, people stop:
- Screaming when they see a looter bug
- Failing jumps across beams
- Dying to dogs or other creatures
- Getting hopelessly lost in mazes
- Overreacting in general
Many of these aspects make the game funny. I'll never forget my first encounter with the bracken as spectator and couldn't stop laughing the entire time: https://www.reddit.com/r/lethalcompany/comments/17ulapt/i_cant_stop_laughing_xd/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3
But, when people become more competent, that one core component is changed. I wouldn't say it's worse, it's just different. Now you have a group of competent players and seeing them react to threatening situations can make the game all the more serious and terrifying. It feels much more like a true horror coop survival game.
Tho, I do want to stress one thing tho. I'm personally not a fan of digging through the code or wiki to find out every tiny little detail about the game. I rather learn as I play (the way God intended).
