Would take too much time for a solo developer

I think that would be neat. Though the current filter might be a bit much on the eyes. If it is ever implemented I’ll have to find a mod to either increase the resolution or video effects.

I’m just hoping he can at some point get it for consoles and cross compatibility for the console plebs so my console friends can play.

Ask Luke Ross on Patreon. He VR modded Cyberpunk2077 and many other games (previously also Red Dead Redemption 2 and GTA V, until a cease-and-desist order from Rockstar games came in). Long story short, a master VR modder of existing pancake games.

He takes requests / does votes on what games to mod for the community, or you could negotiate some kind of deal behind the scenes maybe. I'd vote! 👍

it's extremely likely that we'll eventually have a mod for it. Risk of Rain 2 and Deep Rock also have VR Mods and while they're definitely not meant to be played in VR, the mods do function properly
I have said this once in another topic.

No, and the reason beyond it is that it is a 1 person dev. It would slow down developement.

If Phasmo developers (In particilaury DKnighter who has degrees in VR development cant even get VR to work properly in theyr game) would you really want LC to take 7 years of early access? XD

It's more likely that the dev would be able to do a VR port before that. Porting a game on console, getting it published and also making crossplay on top of all of that is incredibly difficult. There is a reason why a lot of games don't even have console ports at all.

Vr is a tough call as not many people have it.

Is it worth it for a small team and a $10 game ? Probably not.

Would be nice, but the current mod that's being made is a shtty "Attach the camera to the headset and call it VR" mod. Rather have the maker of the RoR2/Raft Vr mods do it cause at least then it'll actually have real VR actions..

There's a reason why most companys outsourced ports.

The only reason why they dont do it anymore because its cheaper to do it themselfs. However, the increase of development time on the game, having to maintain two or three different versions of the game is not helpfull at all.

Its not 'incredible' difficult nowadays. Its just very time consuming to maintain threed different versions as one person.
