BiggerLobby or MoreCompany?

Thinking about modding the game for bigger lobby size at some point as i find the game to be fun even with randoms (none of my friends really care for this sort of game ._. ) and doubling the size of the lobby or more could further add onto the chaos that is Lethal Company (especially with the sheer chaos i see in videos of 8+ player lobbies), but both BiggerLobby and MoreCompany mods expand the lobby with BiggerLobby being able to expand it up to 40 and MoreCompany having a limit of 8 but having customisation.

Both mods have over a million downloads on the Thunderstore website so i can only assume both are good, but i am unsure which one i should get, if one's better than the other or if it's a matter of personal preference?

Yep, it's 32 players. You should go for MoreCompany

Yea you're correct. Saw it being described as "up to 8 players" but on second glance it says the mod was specifically designed for 8 players but more than 8 players can be in a lobby, just that the UI might not properly accommodate more than 8 players
