When i buy one of the moons like Rend and Titan after 1 game it says to buy it AGAIN. Am i stupid or what?

You can visit the moon as long as you don't travel to a different one. Just stay there.

When you buy a planet, you are paying to travel there. If you leave, you have to pay the cost again to go there. If you want to make the best usage of your payment, buy/travel to it on the first day, then stay there and go in no matter what, the weather doesn't make things too ridiculous (unless it's flooding, that ♥♥♥♥ is broken)

As pointed out, once you get there, you can just keep hitting the lever/switch, and just go right back down again.
