Recording quality
Hey so I'm trying to make videos on this game and have noticed the recording quality isn't that great, is there something I can do with obs to help it not pixelate the footage that much? Much appreciated. - a small youtuber

What are you using? if its OBS, make sure your output settings for recording are set correctly. This sounds like a bitrate issue. Ensure your bit rate is set to like 10000 if you're recording in 1440. like 7 or 8000 if in 1080. Also, choose the option that saves the video in "indistinguishable quality"

Check the output settings, there will prolly be a drop down menu with a bunch of different options; look for a preset that says like "YouTube 1080p" or similar.

Be forewarned that higher quality settings will be more taxing on your computer when recording, and will take longer to upload.

I struggle to find said option, but I'm not concerned about performance issues, the game isn't taxing and I got a fairly brand new pc so it's no worry.

Recording in? Like scaling? I have the scaling to the default 1920x1080 but the video bitrate is like 2500. Also I'm not sure where the option to save video like that is, but I assume pushing up the bit-rate will help the most? Thanks again in advance, I'm not used to tweaking obs settings past the few tutorials I did way back when.

I changed it to 8000 and it seems to of stopped the issue, but I won't know for certain until I put a video up on YT with the changes. Cheers!
