Audio/Microphone Troubles

Currently I am attempting to use an Xbox Wireless headset to play the game, however the game seems to be confused in my audio settings, constantly switching between either having no sound, or no microphone. I ensured it was the only connected device, yet the issue persisted and it is utterly infuriating.

I went into my computers app volume and device preferences settings in hopes to fix it in proxy. I manually set the input device to the microphone on the headset, and the output to the earphones, no luck.

Funny enough the game's audio suddenly works when I click OUT OF THE WINDOW, but then mutes itself when I click back in. I'm at a total loss here, is this a known issue or am I just stupid?

same happened to me when i was using the voicemeeter app, i would either get no sound or no mic.

anyone got it fixed cause i tried to adjust the game volume in the settings and it worked however my friend couldnt hear me and now i cant hear anything and my mic doesnt work aswell but sometimes i does idk what to do and im scared that i ****ed up

I'm not having this issue but I'm giving this thread a bump because I know how much it sucks to have your technical issue just brushed under the rug.

it does suck since the game mainly involves noise and communication and this bug isnt really seen by anyone
